Purchasing of special food for the smallest patients of CCUH
01.01.2017.

LPB Bank supports he purchasing of specialized food for the smallest patients of the Children’s Clinical University Hospital (CCUH) in cases of allergies and health problems.

Food allergies are a growing tendency among small patients. As long as the child is in hospital, the state provides him with everything he needs, regardless of the diagnosis, but as soon as the child is discharged from hospital, the costs of medical food fall on the parents. This food is intended for children under 1 year and older who are allergic to cow’s milk protein, including protein intolerance.

With LPB Bank support, savings will be created for cases when the doctor of the Children’s Hospital prescribes this food, but the family does not have the funds to cover the costs of purchasing specialized food.
